Unfair Feedback on eBay for Not Lying to Customs

that is ridicules, her feedback clearly states the intent of deceiving her customs-I did the correct thing and yet I am punished for her wanting me to lie~!She can not plead ignorant to the customs-or eBay-yet you are making an excuse for this person-She is not ignorant to the facts.
eBay policies and the customs or every country clearly state this-she clearly wanted to falsify the customs receipt.
This is the very reason so many are discouraged here-It is only for the buyers and nothing to protect the seller in any way-even you are backing out on what you want me to read again as your policies.
This makes me very sad to be able to be used like this with no recourse for the truth.

Dear sandrastreasureofthesea,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your concerns with the feedback
you received.

The Encouraging Illegal Activity policy states:

"Reports of a request to falsify customs documents only will be reviewed
by eBay if the listing description clearly and prominently specified who
is responsible for paying any applicable customs fees, duties, import
taxes, etc."

We have reviewed your listing and have not found the required
information. Therefore we have not taken any action on this report.

The reason for this is to ensure accountability on both sides of the
transaction. Clearly outlining this responsibility in your future
listings will help us protect you from unwarranted demands and requests
to participate in fraudulent activities.

You can read more about this policy at the following link:

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Xanthus

Please Investigate for feedback problem and see the persons feedback
where she plainly states the negative is for not changing the customs
form-

Dear sandrastreasureofthesea,

"Another way to solve this issue, is for you to make an invoice in Paypal
for value $0.00, explaining it was a GIFT, and that the "thank you 4 you
business" card was a mistake form an employee. I told the customs lady
that you were I friend from mine from college, since I went to UNC.
Please let me know how to proceed.

If not the boots will go back, and I can pay the shipping cost AGAIN,
and you can put GIFT value of $25 dollars, and a card inside of Happy
Birthday. That will take like 2 months to get back to the US and back
here.

Let me know how you want to proceed. Thanks,"

another
"Well the boots arrived. The problem is that in the customs form you put
OTHER instead of GIFT, and they want to charge me $85 dollars of tax.
The boots are going back to the US, besides I told the customs lady that
you were my friend, but there was a note inside saying "thank you for
your purchase". Will you return me the money of the boots via Paypal, I
will take care of the shipment.
Please let me know your comments ASAP. Thanks,"

3rd one
Dear sandrastreasureofthesea,

"PLEASE mark the customs form as GIFT with a price of $40, or it won't go
thru customs and I will never get them. Thanks so much,

You can check that in order details. Please let me know what is out best
way to proceed. "

I Now Have an Unusual Negative For Not LYING
Posted Jun-10-09 15:15:59 PDT Updated Jun-10-09 16:48:05 PDT
I Now Have an Unusual Negative -I received one for not changing the customs form to help them out.. They wanted to not have to pay duty~! Ebay has a policy stated-this is my feedback from the person-my negative~! would print her messages but don't think that is OK.
DIRECT FROM MY FEEDBACK~!!
"I asked 2 mark item as GIFT, custom purposes. She didn't do it.I paid $60 in fees"

International Buyers – Please Note:

*

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
*

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

Other information a seller may wish to include:

*

These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
*

We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as gifts
* I am now told I need to put this in each thing I sell or the negative will have to stand
* Every person knows this is fraud and against the law-yet we are not protected from the buyer who want us to cheat for them~!!
* How unfair-what can we do??

**Well the person I talked to said I would hear in 48-72 hrs-could fit under feedback extortion??
Well ,as you see international could lead to problems-so I will have to revise all my listings to say this-My page and my store say this, but it is not enough-needs to be in each listing I am told~!
